Delete your account: PadelDraw account and data deletion

How to delete your PadelDraw account, or only some of your data, from the app, the web or by contacting us; what is deleted and what stays anonymous in results.

You can delete your PadelDraw account at any time. If you want to keep your account, you can also delete only some of your data. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Deleting your account

In the app

Open the PadelDraw app.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Delete my account and confirm.

On the web

Sign in at padeldraw.app.
On the Account page, confirm the deletion in the Delete account section.

If you can't access your account

Use the contact form, choose the Privacy topic and write "Account deletion" in your message, or email padeldrawapp@gmail.com with the same subject; writing from your account's email address speeds things up. We complete requests within 30 days.

Deleting data without deleting your account

Yourself, right away

In the app under Profile → Edit profile, or on the web on the Account page:

Profile photo: choose Remove photo (in the app, then save). The photo is not only unlinked from your profile but also deleted from our servers.
Level: tap Clear in the app, or empty the field on the web and save.
Gender: choose Prefer not to say in the app and save.
City: empty the field on the web and save.

By contacting us

Use the contact form, choose the Privacy topic, write "Data deletion" in your message and tell us which data to delete, or send the same details by email to padeldrawapp@gmail.com. Your account stays open; we complete requests within 30 days. This way we can delete:

All or selected podium records in your trophy cabinet
Your name in tournaments you played: it is replaced with "Deleted player" and the entry is unlinked from your account; scores stay for other players' results
Notification registrations for your devices
Contact messages you sent us and reports you made

What is deleted with your account

Your account and sign-in details
Your profile: name, level, gender, city and profile photo files
Your podium records in the trophy cabinet and your league ratings
Notification registrations for your devices
Pending club invitations sent to your email address
Contact-form messages you sent from your account's email address

What stays

Tournaments: so other players' results stay correct, matches and scores from tournaments you played remain. Your entry's name is replaced with "Deleted player", level and gender are cleared, your name in fixed-pair team names is replaced and the link to your account is removed.
Reports: reports you made stay for moderation with no link to your account (including the note you wrote); they are deleted 2 years after they were made.
Security records: audit records keep only your former account ID (a pseudonymous identifier), without your name or email, for 2 years.
What you created: tournaments and clubs you created stay without an organizer. If you are the only owner of a club, you are asked to hand it over to another admin before deleting.
Backups: deleted data is also removed from backups within 30 days.
