Here are the questions we hear most about PadelDraw. Can't find yours? Get in touch.

Joining

Do I need an account or an app to join a tournament?

No. Scan the organizer's QR code, tap the short link or enter the code, type your name and you're in. Joining works in the browser, so there's nothing to download.

Do I need an account to organize a tournament?

Yes, organizers sign in quickly with Apple, Google or a 6-digit code sent to their email, with no password. Then head to the tournament panel to set up your first event.

Tournaments

Which formats can I use?

Americano, Mixed Americano, level-balanced Americano, Team Americano, Club Americano, Mexicano, Team Mexicano, Club Mexicano, King of the Hill, Beat the Box, Swiss, round robin, knockout, groups and knockout and the ladder are available now; all 15 formats are in the app and the panel. Level-balanced Americano needs a level for every player; in Club Americano and Club Mexicano you assign every player to one of two clubs in the panel. Create the tournament in the panel or the app, pick the format and add the players; in fixed-pair formats, pairs are formed automatically in sign-up order or added by hand.

What if we have an odd number of players, or too many for the courts?

Some players sit out a round. PadelDraw rotates sit-outs fairly: nobody sits out a second time until everyone has sat out once. You can also give sitting players their average points for that round. More in fair Americano with an odd number of players.

How many players and courts can I have?

That depends on the format and your courts. Before you start, a simulation shows the number of rounds, how many times each player sits out and how often pairings repeat. Total time is roughly rounds × your minutes per round. For typical examples, see Americano for 8, 12 and 16 players.

Is the draw really fair?

The draw is deterministic: the same seed always produces the same schedule, so pairings are reproducible and explainable rather than pulled from a black box. In Americano, repeated partners and opponents are kept to a minimum.

How are ties in the standings broken?

Total points come first, then wins, point difference, head-to-head and finally a draw of lots.

Scores and live updates

Who can enter scores?

The organizer, a referee or court marshal (via PIN or link), and the players. When a player submits a score, the opponents confirm it, so scores can come straight from each court on several devices.

What happens if the internet connection drops?

A score that's already saved is never lost. On the web, score entry needs a connection, so if it drops you enter the score once you're back online. Offline score entry with automatic sync is coming with the iOS and Android apps.

How does TV mode work?

Open padeldraw.app/tv on a smart TV or a computer's browser and pair it with your tournament using the 6-digit code on screen. Standings and upcoming matches appear and update as scores come in. Step-by-step: live padel scoreboard on TV.

Where do players follow the results?

Every tournament has a live page where players see pairings, courts and standings on their phones in real time. App users also get notifications when a round starts and when results are in.

Account and privacy

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account yourself from the account settings inside the app. If you need help, contact us.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored in the European Union, on servers in Frankfurt (Supabase). See our privacy policy and KVKK notice for details.

Which languages does PadelDraw support?

Turkish and English. PadelDraw was designed in Turkish first, and more languages are coming soon.

Pricing

Does PadelDraw cost anything?

It's free right now, and it will always be free for players. Paid plans for organizers and clubs will come later, and a tournament that has started will never be locked mid-way by a plan limit. See pricing.
